2. Description of Service

Counselor Suite provides a web-based platform for college counselors to manage student information, track FAFSA applications, organize college lists, and facilitate communication with students and families.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of Counselor Suite is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using our service, you consent to the collection and use of information as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

5. Google Integrations

If you choose to connect a Google account, you authorize Counselor Suite to access Google user data only to provide the features you request, such as calendar sync and sending emails you initiate. You may revoke access at any time through your Google account settings or by disconnecting Google in the app.

6. AI Services

Counselor Suite uses OpenAI services to provide AI-powered features including essay feedback and review assistance, conversational AI for querying student data, and timeline generation for SAT preparation and college admissions. Data processed through OpenAI is subject to their privacy and security practices.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload or transmit viruses or malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Reproduce, duplicate, or copy any portion of the service

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Counselor Suite are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

Counselor Suite shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the service.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms of Service at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide notice prior to any new terms taking effect. Your continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
